VolFlow Trading Systems

About VolFlow Trading Systems

VolFlow Trading Systems is a Fresno-based, founder-led company focused on algorithmic trading education and system development. The classes teach the same practical process used to turn an idea into testable rules, connect data, simulate orders, and monitor a working system.

Isaac Martinez

Founder · Lead Developer · Principal Quantitative Analyst

Isaac combines formal education in finance and business analytics with hands-on experience building and operating automated trading systems.

His work covers the full system lifecycle: defining trading logic, preparing market data, testing strategies, connecting brokerage APIs, handling orders, tracking positions, and building monitoring and safety controls. The course is based on that end-to-end development process.

VolFlow does not teach students to copy a secret signal or depend on a black box. Students learn how the parts work, how to test their own rules, and how to recognize the limits and risks of automation.

01

Finance and analytics education

Isaac holds a master's degree in Business Data Analytics from Golden Gate University, has graduate training in finance from San José State University, and earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Fresno State.

02

Systems built for real market conditions

How the classes are taught

01Explain the systemUnderstand what each component does before connecting it.
02Write clear rulesConvert a trading idea into logic that can be tested and reviewed.
03Test before deploymentUse historical data and paper trading before considering live execution.
04Build controlsAdd logs, position checks, error handling, and ways to stop the system safely.

Educational purpose and limitations

Algorithmic trading does not remove market risk and no system is guaranteed to be profitable. VolFlow classes are educational and do not provide individualized investment advice. The goal is to help students understand the technology, testing process, and operational responsibilities involved.
